i sit here contemplating the place my soul carries in the universe

the small actions that have reactions that i never anticipated

the weight of a butterflies wings, they say can cause an earthquake

earth eat my bones when im ready to decompose

and let my life sustain new life. this is all i desire.

i wish to one day be immersed in my very own world

this is what it would be like:

plants filling the walls of my home

many animals including hairless kittens and pitbulls

teas of all different assortments

a spacious yet cozy kitchen to create yummy home grown recipes

a dusty velvet library
-
hundreds of candles
-
a human nest made of hundreds of fabrics to read books, write and watch films

a vast studio taking up most of my home, concrete floors with hundreds of fabrics, sculpting materials, paints, jars of found objects and buttons etc.a wall of my instruments and a corner to make songs.

and a lovely mini farm filled with chickens for eggs, avocado trees, herbs, tomatoes, watermelons, etccccccc.

oh whoa. yes this sounds heavenly...looking back at this in a few years will be interesting if anythings changed.

I applied for some internships at LAIKA…I kind of assumed I didn’t get it but I decided to check their website today and this made me very excited/nervous. AH! :( Expect the worst hope for the best…either way where ever I end up I know that this is where I’m supposed to be. :)

this is the final poster design i made for MICA juried ceramics exhibition. I used ball point pen, pastel, and photoshop :) quite happy with the outcome.
